My name is Doug Cress. I’m interested in new business ventures, the Internet and new media.

I work for OneMedPlace, a research and media firm based in New York. My regular analysis of the medical device industry can be found here.

I was born in Boston, MA circa 1982 to Vivian and Bill Cress. My brother Greg and I grew up in a suburb of Boston, Weston, MA.

I moved to New York City in 2004, after graduating from Tufts University.

My first serious web venture, BlogSoop, launched in 2006. It aggregates expert opinion.
